A NEW SERIES IS COMING VERY SOON...

Zodiac round is not SMM debut. After success of Skull Goat coin I think mintage 500 pcs. should be sold at list in 2-4 weeks.

Ya well different theme ,plus its a medal not a coin, coins seems to do better then medals , plus there are 12 coming out in a year of the Zodiac, Verse one per year of the Lunar skulls.

I personally really like the Zodiac 2015 ZODIAC MEMENTO MORI and plan to make a set of the 1oz silver, I think the 500 mintage will keep the value up, how high at this point no ones knows, but I like the sound of a "12 medal 1oz silver set with a mintage of only 500." Yummy all over.

I really like the Zodiac designs. Its great to see people taking a risk and producing something like this that is quite out of the ordinary. Of course, something different can lead to polarised opinions, but that's what makes such things worthwhile otherwise we'd be drowning in a sea of mediocre coins.

I am sorry Son-Montuno if honest opinion can hurt you and push you to this point.

"SILVERCOINSSHOW posted this comment and then requested to cancel his order 10-15 minutes later"

My intention was to cancel my order but before I wanted to know your cancellation policy which you didn't tell me, but simply cancelled my transaction.

The main reason why I wanted to cancel the order because waiting time was getting ridiculous (almost five weeks).

"We make limited edition pieces for collectors that appreciate what we do and want to
collect our pieces. As it is obvious that SILVERCOINSSHOW is nether" that was harsh, because I think of myself as a collector more then silver stacker.

P.S. I don't appreciate you sharing my information.

Well I paid $130 CA for mine and I thought that was a good deal lol, Damn anyone want to sell me a few more at $69 US ? I will buy any you don't want at $69 us anytime. lol.

Yepper, someone needs to write SM and have him remove that post. That was harsh. A big turn off. You don't treat people that way. Geesh.

I understand what you are saying. I don't have problem with $149 price for an ounce of silver. The thing I don't understand is why they are rising price ( ok, they could start with $99 and keep the same price). Is the production or postage cost changed since they started selling these rounds? THIS IS GREEDINESS !

Don't want to defend anybody, but what are the other mints doing other than making money (being greedy)? At least majority of them.
I don't know why some people complain about greediness of the PM companies. There is nobody forcing you to buy stuff...

I agree, Cant blame Son-Moutuno for defending them self honestly , I would do the same if someone was calling me or my company "Greedy" without knowing all the facts.

I echoed on this. He is a man who hold on to his words. I had some complicated transactions with him before which he is kind enough to resolve all matters in good and peaceful way although it was my error. ...

In the search for additional profits some companies may do things that upsets customers. Nobody is forcing them to buy, but why shouldn't they voice their opinion if unhappy? How else will a company know what is causing sales to decline (assuming their actions reduce the number of buyers)?

Furthermore, this is a discussion forum, there's no need for a one sided view of a product or the way a company is selling it. If people are unhappy why shouldn't they express their opinion (in a non defamatory manner)?

I'd suggest that unhappy customers on this forum and others have been reason for various changes from companies & mints over the last few years, just look at the Kookaburra "restrike" or mintage policy from Perth Mint for examples.

Defending themselves is fine & they've done a good job pointing out most of the coins were sold for issue price or not much more, but sharing customer order details is not on.

I didn't say you don't have right to express your opinion.
But from my experience few "rants" won't change much at least with bigger mints. Because they mostly don't care.
When Britannia 5oz 2014 proof was published first declared mintage number was lower than actual. They said it was a mistake.
They did basically the same with United Kingdom 2015 Piedfort.

Maybe Son Montuno can change, but for bigger mints I doubt; unless there would be serious decline in their sales.
And some people will still buy stuff regardless of the mints' policy...

The Royal Mint misrepresentation of mintages on their website, twice, makes me wonder if it is more than just basic incompetence.

working around the clock to finish up shipping of all Pisces orders
samples received/approved for Aries in silver & copper and they look great!
sales for Aries will begin as soon as we finish shipping all remaining orders for Pisces
Aquarius gold should be ready to ship in approximately 2 weeks, perhaps less
(contingent upon sample bring approved)

looks like SM Mint might collaborate with the US Mint for a new & hip
design for the American Silver Eagle, this would mark the first significant
change of its design since it was released in 1986, we are crossing our fingers

Who knows what will be the 3rd time. ;) Maybe next time actual number will be much lower. :P

I got a couple of these. The BU version seem comes close to the MacBook aluminium in its finish. Not super impressed TBH. The proof is significantly better.

One of mine even has a defect.
