5 oz VS 10 oz lunar coins

Which size is better 5 oz or 10 oz? I have to add min 60 oz in lunar coins and i choose between 5 oz and 10 oz versions.
5 oz seems to be very collectable well balanced, 10 oz is big and heavy looks good. Which size version will be better to stack it for next 10 years? I heard from bullion runnig business people like they sell now more 5 oz ones. How would u devide this 60 oz order? I want to know everyones opinion from lunar forum.
 
5oz would be more liquid obviously, but it all depends on wht you want. Seeing as you are buying 60oz why not get like 50 in 5oz n a 10oz or 40/20 even?

Personally id buy anything I like looking at more than once(I'm not a smart buyer) but I never buy much, I don't have anything bigger than a 5oz yet
 
My personal preference is for 10oz.

It's not like you are going to carry them around and spend them so the size isn't really an issue. Having said that, I am not a big fan of the Lunars.

(I liked the dragons and wouldn't hesitate to add more 10oz to the stack but the rest are just meh...)

You are chosing to stack Lunars over bars probably because they are semi numismatic? In which case they need to be appealing to people, the lunars just don't seem to be that desirable unless they are a tiger or dragon.

I would get a selection of each, three 10oz and six 5oz, unless you get a discount for buying all of the same type, then go for the 5oz if they apparently sell better.
 
I wont buy any more as they are pretty rather than functional, by functional i mean i want my bullion to occupy the least amount of space possible, these totally fail that test, wrong size to stack and huge case.. to many fanboys cry if it gets toned or a crack to the casing.. not worth the potential increase with the lack of stackability.. ill be buying bars from now on anyways.

I'm with 1for1 on this one.

Bars are a lot more space efficient and condition is not an issue, you might not get such high returns on them but it depends if you are going to have them long term or try and flip them for a quick profit.

Back to the topic.. i have stopped buying anything that comes in a case.. its a plastic peice of crap the world doesnt need! Stack silver.. not perspex/pvc.. plastic! Go old skool.. let silver tarnish.. screw milk spots.. be a man..dont get all metrosexual with your stack.. man up!

I saw that 10oz in downies at town hall the other month, it sure is a huge coin. Palm sized, i can imagine how much of a boss you would look pulling one out of your pocket.

Also would 2012 10oz Silver Australia Kook slabbed by NGC be value at a price of $350, i was eying off one at this price.

It would be a good buy, at that price it is only a couple of dollars more than what you would pay for a std 10oz from a dealer.
Many stackers here don't go for the graded coins but in this case I say why not have something a little different in your stack for only a couple of exrta dollars.

The 10oz are better value per ounce but I must admit I have a thing for the 5oz (especially at current prices), they're "just right". :)

Probably a ridiculous reason for voting for the 5's but seeing pandas are in 1 oz and 5 oz I buy 5's in the lunars! In my little silver world the panda is the Rolls Royce yard stick so why not. If prices infect the 5 oz lunar some where down the line to half the degree over the base metal as a panda I'll be happy.
