$34 @ months end. Hopefully less. I need to buy more....

I have a feeling that if the price drops to $34, the premiums will still be high :(

I sure miss the days before $30+

its the Saudis "Day of Rage" on friday silver will fly
The Economist has an article pointing out that the Saudi's calmed the price of oil - POI - by taking up Libya's drop in production. If the world thinks that Saudi supplies are in danger then all bets are off. End of global recovery and meltdown. Article says investors count a 0.25% drop in world growth per 10 percent oil price rise. Global growth predicted at barely 1.5% this year, and 20% increase in POI so far. Saudi could be the deal breaker.

Excellent point Nub Cannon - Market volatility breeds high premiums.

Yeah, it's quite unfortunate. These premiums are really killing my cost averaging; my local coin shop is charging $40 for Maples :O

I haven't seen silver just hover around a price ($36) with minimal changes in price for so long, I wonder what's going on?

$36 is pretty resistant and looks like it's waiting for something.

Possibly waiting on the announcement of QE3 or the extension of QE2 which the Fed really has to do this month.

If QE is a green light it'll be buy, buy, buy.

If QE is denied (there is a very strong case for that) JPM don't have to do anything as people will bail out driving the price down.

I seem to recall it took forever to clear the 18.50 area. Once it did it did well. This is nothing. With the current trend and chart pattern you'd have to think it will break higher but nothing is a given I guess.

NO! I'm still short my target. Don't print yet America! Bring on the significant dip that would last 6 months then to the moon!

Oh that was way before I got into silver, I wish I got in then. I started investing in silver in mid december 2010 so I'm not really used to a lull in the market

i think this thread might need a bump =)

Wondering why we're in the $40 thread and we havent even made it yet??!! (of course we will soon...just that we're jumpin the gun a bit) :P

I'm sure there will be more resistance (or "apparent resistance" if you know what I mean :p ) than we expect. I don't expect to see $40 for at least 2-3 weeks. Who knows what could happen after last week though...

Goldmember, as for why, its on everyones mind, and this is as good a place to talk about it as any. Still, it is fun trying to be the first to post at each dollar up, after it reaches that point.
