$3000

Becoming more mainstream whether through currency devaluation, mistrust of blatant gov stats and lies, physical investment alternatives to now almost commonplace "technical isssues" service outages and growing hacks and scams...not to mention tighter restriction from banks to "protect" us of course o_O;) More adverts then ever seen promoting gold as investment, bullion give aways as incentive to the houses they sell tickets for u name it...All good for us stackers as a whole and long term as has always done shall in my silly opinion yield good results. Hell yesterday i bought a vape for 1st time in years...and its in ingot form :D View attachment 94075

Yeah gold is being used more often to associate something as having real value.

Even the bitcoin token is made to look like a gold coin to give the impression it's worth something.;)

Agreed :)since 1st discovered gold been highly prized for many reasons and its value is universal holding up thru the ages its been there to see empires rise and fall...and looks damn good doing it :D Careful but we'll have a war with the crypto crew brewing  and lengthy discussions on pros and cons-Schiff/Saylor Rocky/Apollo "Ding Ding" (rambling Rocky reference) :)

Both have value subjective on our own formed opinions and of others who help create/destroy the world ;) Were all stackers too of physical 1st then for many diverging into diff directions but all follow our chosen path best we can and try not to be herded like cattle. More into boxing/UFC especially years back but glad u enjoy it mate :) i liked state of origin mainly to cheer for opposing side and piss people off :p

When people want to debate and wring their hands over how much better paper bets are in the future, they will avoid this entire time frame of charts haha.
This last 25 years will be like sacrilege! Their cries will echo through the halls of eternity.

Well I just lost on a couple coins now that peace may break out. Not a lot, maybe $110 or $120, but I'm not in this to lose money. I know its gold and eventually will make it up but the coin I just bought before the markets opened is now $65 cheaper and it kind of grinds at me.

Not the money but the fact I read the room so wrongly. I expected, not wanted, a longer and more destructive conflict. Perhaps even an attempt to close the Gulf. In any even if peace breaks out then I'll happily pay the freight. I'm in for the long game anyways but even silver took a dump.

A good time to buy and a bad time to be out of cash. Dang !

Might not drop below $3300 if support holds.
Either way your better off with the gold.

I want to be one of those cool guys that says im 'bout to back up the truck if it keeps dropping, but i really want silver and it ain't dropping but a few cents.
At my LCS last time all the silver had premiums but he sold me fractional 1/10 gold Eagles for spot which I thought was strange.
Im used to fractional normally having the highest premiums and even a one ounce Eagle might have at least a small premium over.

It might be worth a trip for that but not much else.
