Christmas present to myself :) arrived today from Germany pictures (difficult to get good photo) do not do this set justice it is simply stunning.



Plus a couple of other recent purchases



I already have the proof 1/2 ox but this one has case and cert and was a bargain.

Without splitting hairs they work out at just over 94 each, pound is very strong against most currencies at the moment, so I thought I'd bite the bullet and buy this 2 oz set another incentive to get on and buy it is Germany ups their VAT rate from 7% to 19% on the 1st of Jan.
You also get a very nice red case to hold them in which has a black lift out section with storage under it for certs.

I have seen the proof 2oz mouse make 283 euros a which is approx 235 so the set is something of a bargain as tiger makes good money as well.

Bullion 2 ozers which I have as well except mouse :) make 50-60 , tiger makes around 70-75 ox makes 85-100 mouse makes around 220- 250 on ebay Germany.
 
I haven't even seen a 2 oz lunar proof for 2014 advertised anywhere! a 2oz bullion horse here is 31.5 pounds including all taxes..

You are right I can't see 2oz horse proofs for sale in Europe (other than the ones that are being split by dealers from the 12 coin set) nor are they on Perth mints own site, maybe they will be released later after 12 coin set buyer get theirs.
