Hi, help solve a mystery.
silbertresor newsletter Monday Dec 8 2025, says limited edition BU gilded China 2025 Dragon, mintage 300 (!) :
https://www.silbertresor.de/product...rache--Dragon--2025---1-Oz-Silber-Gilded.html
11 available ( was 13, i bought 2 right away when i saw this)
I been buying from Faller for decades, i trust them 100%.
Searching german ebay etc etc, there is another version with a mintage of 500, and the gilding is different. for example:
https://www.ebay.de/itm/365810720758?_skw=China+10+Yuan+Drache++2025
The packaging is different, the gilding is different (notice how the water ripples by the dragon's feet are gilded in the silbertresor version, and not gilded in the EMK version, and the reverse is not gilded in silbertresor version), and most importantly, the mintage is different.
Also, the details in the EMK ebay entry says:
"* This coin has been gil-ded by a private company." (browser translated)
The silbertresor entry says minted by
China Gold Coin Corporation

Now i've been around the block a couple of times, so i immediately bought a couple from Faller (silbertresor) because to me, it seems these 300 mintage ones with the gilded ripples are the genuine ones
It's a brand new concept and series from China, a key coin, officially 10 yuan denominated BU coin with a mintage of 300, which to me screams buy.
But what did i buy?, the original, authentic 300 mintage gilded BU? Or a 3rd party gilded knock-off of the 2025 bullion dragon with a mintage of
2 million?
plz 2 halp.
mike
