The recent precious metal smack downs seem to have come to an end ( at least for the time being )

Why buy 1/20 or 1/10?
Perth Mint has been selling 1g minted for spot + 10% (PM was advertising a voucher on Ebay's homepage)

I prefer coins.
Although not easy to justify 20x 1/20 being $700-800 more expensive than 31x 1g.

Perth have been clearing out all sorts. Double dragon 1oz proof was $60 for days but now bumped back to $120. They are manipulating Ebay's sort by Best Match.
Pays to watch eBay. The standard price for 1g cards is not spot + 10% though, which makes other options more worthwhile. I would rather pay few dollars a gram extra for 1/20 coins than plain assay cards.

I paid 11.2% including shipping. 1/20s are 45% not including shipping.
I definitely a coin person but this solves a few of my problems with gold shrapnel.
