2020 Collapse

Yeah I wondered if they were probably disarmed. It's a shame to see.

I've noticed when I look up gun laws in various countries, it usually states "in short" that permission can be granted for civilians through the government to own guns if they apply through the correct channels.
Come to find out it CAN be granted but usually isnt.
CAN is the key word.
Most of the time it seems there simply isnt permission.
The same thing goes on in Illinois, New York and california these days.

The US has a long history of private gun ownership, and lots of veterans, so you can have private gun ownership. If this is done in other countries, most people will be using it to rid of the noisy partner or dispatch themselves after being ditched.

When I saw the protests in the various state capitols, I'm quite impressed that chaos didn't breakout. If it were other country, I'm quite sure there will be massacre. The police and politicians being massacred or other way round.

Meanwhile, gold just sunk below 1,700 $ and now it's bouncing back.

Is a double-bottom forming? If so, that would really mean a bottom has formed.

The only thing that had kept our armed protests civil is the fact that no one has pulled the trigger yet.
Once that happens it will be game on and hopefully they dont stop until its burned to the ground.
It will happen sooner or later I think. It needs to.

Might actually be a show. Like you said earlier, Trump had to play along to let them have their chance. Protestors will not pull the trigger unless the government does it first. Of course, the army must be professional to listen to orders not to engage, which was what happened. And as it happened, the commies were fooled by the show. :D

This might turn out to be the biggest reality show in the world. Who knows, Trump might release this show in the future ......... on his new social media website.

While the show was being reported on fake media, Trump was busy working on some other stuff. It was a distraction strategy. I knew it by early January but it was fun to go along.

By now, it's obvious that the transition to Biden/Harris administration was already in progress by early January, Trump was preparing the transition and Biden played along to deceive the enemies.

This video shows the civilians now have what looks to me like "home made" air rifles? An improvement from bird shooting sling shots but not enough to win the civil war.

The western colonial powers have lost their credibility due to all the things that happened in the last 100-150 years, but especially in the last 20 years.

The false wars they waged were merely for economic/power reasons. However, they embellished them all in "humanitarian/just" false reasons.
Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya... were all about resources and global power positions.

What is happening today (they're at each other's throat: see EU vs its members, EU vs UK in Brexit etc.) is pure madness.
Ideological propaganda is ruining their own system of alliances. This is leading to their internal collapse.

It is very sad to see what is happening and we can just hope that it gets sorted out peacefully.

Here's another video with a few interesting points made by Richard Wolff - believes there will be no "economic boom" after the pandemic:

No economic boom? It's booming over here, stocks going up, property going up, businesses spending money, malls full.

Any government can spend money, only problem is where the money went? Into official pockets, white elephant overseas projects or useless luxury goods? Spending money to support local businesses is definitely correct. They usually screw up, but this time is done correctly and should be a case study for economics texbooks. :D

In a Monday report, DBS stated that retail sales in the fourth quarter of FY2020 were just 3 per cent below normalised levels.
According to the report on Monday, its distribution per unit (DPU) in FY2021 is projected to be 6 per cent higher than pre-Covid levels.

This result is sans "tourists" and with "social distancing measures" in place. Plus the cost cutting measures, the businesses are making a killing. Sales rise, cost fall.
