2017 Krugerrand 50th Anniversary Silver *PROOF* available at downies

Thanks for the info, these are going for a heap on eBay, I just got a couple, one for the collection and one to sell to pay for the one to keep, lovely

Everywhere is minimum $300 for these coins, these were released really late and for $119 a piece, I almost dropped my phone when I saw the price, I wish I had more cards and addresses to send them to, I managed to get a few before they sold out, hope others from the forum chasing some of these got in on the bargain

I Believe the good people at Downies actually read these posts.
I would not be yelling too loud that they are a bargain and how many you managed to order,,,,,just incase you dont get them.
Scream out loud next week when they are in your possession

But they are a bargain?

I'm pretty sure a company such as downies would be aware of the going price for these

if downies are reading this I wanna say thanks for selling at the original issue price and not price gouging like other distributors.

Please Note: Due to overwhelming demand, this item is restricted to 2 per household.

They stated limit of 2 per household, which is what I got

We received ours, and they are in good shape, no issues with coin rattling outside of the capsule in transit etc.

Received my 2pcs Krugerrand Silver Proof from Downies two days ago.

Decided to break seal and open up my Krugerrand this morning.

First coin is perfectly fine.

But when I opened up case of second coin, raw proof silver coin was there. ON TOP OF CLOSED CAPSULE

.

Top part and bottom part of capsule was intact and empty, secured within the case but raw silver coin was put on top of empty capsule and travel thousands of miles to customers?

Really strange that South African Mint did this. Really poor quality control.
