Heard a solid rumour at the FUN Show that next years Panda will be 30 grams - no longer a troy ounce. Basically 2015 is the "transition" year with no markings, but still the full 1oz.

A roll of 20 coins = 1kg is a lot rounder in metric terms than any mulitples of 30 grams.
Is the 30g size just so people can still use the 1oz spot price to see value without havin to do any calcs?
