2016 Nanjing Mint Panda Medal Release

Received the brass medal from Lucky today, it looks even better than the pictures. I really like the high relief design, a video from Numistacker will show the real beauty of this medal.

Video very soon meanwhile here are some pictures.

I think that the quality seems excellent and I am looking forward to having them all graded by NGC. The design really rocks and especially in the antique versions.

Copper 199, Brass 99, Antique 30 - These are such a great addition to my collection.

At the moment we are very lucky to have both the Nanjing Pandas from Nanjing Mint and the Panda Lunar Range from Shenyang Mint as well. Both mints have done a great job.

Bravo, Bravo, Bravo!

Great video. Thanks.

I was also struck by the workmanship shown by these medals; definitely not a rush job. The high relief was almost four dimensional. Reminds me of the high relief of the 2014 Great Wall Medal.

Yes, the antique copper and brass medals show more contrast and depth to their appearance.

Thanks again for the video.

I would like to change mind sets on these types of items but i think its a slow thing. In the stacking community there is a lot of mistrust in anything that is not a precious metal and a mistrust in non-fiat. Maybe I will be proved wrong but i feel I am marching in time and many of these people are out of time and out of sync with the opportunity we have that may be short lived to obtain beautiful rare items at great prices. Yes more than the PM + a % but nevertheless value for money.

Show this to Britain and European

http://www.coinweek.com/editors-choice/royal-mint-redefines-legal-tender-coin-collectors/

It the legal tender collector coin still superior than non legal tender.

Check out the recent non fiat USA sell volume.

What you collect? Collecting precious metal or collectible item of art.

Majority pure PM Stacker will feel copper and brass are junk and never understand non-fiat brass and copper medal.

Many Numic collectors will feel maple bullion is type of PM not collectible.

It take long times for each to understand the others.

I fear mine is stuck at the customs office, arrived in Frankfurt Sep 23, no tracking update since then :-(
