2016 Lunar Monkey King?

Too bad you can't buy these easily in the USA... I'm sure someone will start selling them on the bay...

Careful with these, there were claims that some fakes were in the market (previous series) so maybe the new series will also become a target for the fakers. See here: http://www.silverlunar.com/2012/10/fakecounterfeit-silver-lunar-coins-on.html

E.g, that site says the following are images of fakes:

^^ clearly fakes, not even pics of monkeys! :P
They are falling behind! I just did a quick search on Alibaba now to see if there are any recent ones. Closest I found was 2013.

It looks like crap too. Probably no risks of fake coloured 2016 coins yet.

These are available from Perth Bulhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lion. Reasonable price if you can stretch for the box price (100+): http://www.perthbullion.com/shop/detail/pmmonkeyking16sco1

$11 over spot. Feels like a hefty premium to pay considering the price of silver at the moment (almost 50% over spot), but I've just bought some.

I like the design. I have been humming and harring over 2015 Kangaroos, 2016 Koala or Lunar... the goat, monkey and rooster designs from Perth Mint have all been a bit 'meh' (I think more a reflection on the animals, than designer), so when I saw these Monkey King coins I waited for a dip in spot price and bought some.

Hard to know how well they will do, but with only 100,000 minted, a unique Chinese related design, good use of colour and for around the same price as the standard lunar 1oz coins... I think they may be worth a punt.

I can't seem to find it anymore on PB site. All gone?
