I agree bigsky. These will get sucked up fast. 500K is a pittance compared to eagles, maples, and Pandas. This is my go to bullion whenever I get extra money. I just hope it stays at 3.99 or lower in the weeks and months to come.

Best prices today here seem to be around AU$5.6 plus spot, a few
dealers have this pricing as their biggest volume discount.

This is the biggest purchase coin wise for me so far, just really like
this coin, silver is pretty cheap still IMO, coin very nice, attractive premium
why not splurge?, better than throwing me money at the cup today anyway

If prices are a little higher at APMEX, I go with them, only because if there are any issues, or they don't come in the perth mint wrap, they have a return guarantee. Provident, not so much. And it's happened before. I've ordered 20, expecting to get perth wrap, and sure enough, they come in individual pieces, and APMEX sent a label and I returned, and Provident I couldn't, it was 'bullion.' :(

Based on this image, I say the 2008 is still the best, but maybe there are some details missing on your picture Razz? It doesn't look high Rez. The other thing I don't like is the polish areas vs the matt finish of the the 2008. So far, 2008 is still #1 in my book. And only has 300k mintage.

Oh no :(. May be worth holding off for a while then so we can observe if there are any complaints from the initial buyers.
 
Goldstackers says these 2016 1oz kooks are still on pre-order status and so does via the Perth Mint site but I noticed an ebay seller, was selling them for $5 odd dollar more the goldstackers...hmm...

Thanks for sharing your photo Razz, this year design is very very nice in my opinion. And something a bit different with the barbed wire. I think the HR proof of this is going to look awesome.
