Ya just got my shipping notice today for mine! With prices this low I think I may make 2 full sets of the silvers , Damn cheap for 500 mintage 1 oz antiqued silver.

^ I am on subscription with this series and even I don't get low numbers! :) Not a big deal at all actually...I really like the series so far and the price for this high quality product is well worth it; that's all that really matters to me.

.
The price is not great when I factor in the AUD exchange rate and shipping costs. And the copper round is significantly overpriced. It would have been better to limit the copper mintage significantly, or include it free with the coin with a matching mintage.

Edit: and eBay fees, crappy PayPal exchange rate, etc

Fair points...I live in the U.S. and so it's a bit different.

Also I had in mind the silver medal as opposed to the copper medal but still, what the full cost of design, production, and marketing is crucial to look at, not merely that it's 1 oz of this metal or that. I'm sure you understand why. You suggest it be given away free (with the purchase of the silver medal). What about the copper medal by itself...what price would be fair to you? If the price of that copper medal was $1 or .18 cents, would that be a fair price to you or would that be a steal for you? At this moment, 1 Troy ounce of copper is about .19 cents (US). Using the model that a product like a coin or medal ought to be priced according to it's metal content alone, then we might as well equally value a scribble I do in 2 seconds on a piece of 77 cm 53 cm scrap paper and the Mona Lisa painting.

My point is, how do we fairly value something we buy? I certainly don't value numismatic or collector products in the same way I value a blob. All value that a silver or copper product can have is the value we attach to it. The designer will attach a differnt value than the distributor who will attach a different value than the reatiler, who will attach a different value than the consumer....who's value is right? I'm not necessarily saying that you value numismatic or collector products in the same way you value a blob, but some stackers most certainly express themselves as if they do. I've seen it done many times by a number of stackers. And then when I question them about it, they have no reasonable response.

So what is the fair value of 1 copper Momento Mori Pisces medal?

Gotta pick your battles with overseas shipping..

If you're not spreading out the costs over enough items / high enough $ amount, then small orders just aren't worth it, unfortunately.

Anyone know when you can purchase the aires? I won't let me click on the add to cart link...

You cant buy it yet, not until its been released and a picture of it is up on that site, I believe.

Will add, if anyone is looking for the AQUARIUS medal, Power coin in Italy has 2 left. at $129 eru , I dont know if that makes it any cheaper then eBay for people but there it is. Powercoin.it i believe is the site.

Yea I missed the Pisces and lost my subscription :/

Aries is pretty cool.. better than Aquarius.

But Pisces is still the best so far, IMO.

Been sitting these out, for better or worse.

Pisces almost got me, though, heh..

Looking forward to the customer photos!

Anyone else wondering what they are going to do for libra? Skulls in the scale maybe? I'm going to start buying these, wonder if I should pick up the first 2 I missed now or hold off a bit

The first two wont be getting any cheaper later, almost a given they will increase in price, but who really knows for sure. If more people take interest in the later releases then the first one for sure will go higher yet, as it is first in series and is signed etc.

Just received my order today and snapped a few pics. These are nicer looking in the hand than in a picture:

The aries is the best design for me so far.
