2015 1 1/4oz Canadian bison

cant imagine many will come down to oz and I cant understand the RCMs obsession with fractional coins but design looks nice enough
 
Being that they claim the first 800 coins were submitted to NGC, I guess this means that JM Bullion has begun cherry picking coins.

Kam is spot on - basically guaranteed to be milk spotted from RCM.

Just to clear this up and as stated on all of our product pages, we do not cherry pick any coins. Regarding the Bison coins, we sent two sealed monster boxes for grading and as you can read on our infographic only two coins were graded NGC 68 or lower. Due to the superior minted quality compared to normal RCM Maple Leafs (I don't believe a 2014 Silver Maple Leaf coin has ever been graded MS70 by NGC), there wouldn't be a need to cherry pick in the first place.
 
I'm not worried about it I got 5 of them and I get ten dollar coupon for there unboxing promotion so I'm pretty much paying a dollar over spot...

Just to clear this up and as stated on all of our product pages, we do not cherry pick any coins. I must be mistaken, I figured that since I didn't see either of the MS68 coins for sale that you had already cracked them out of the slabs and put them back in tubes for sale again. Any chance we can see pics of those 68s or lower still in their slabs?

Hey, when you submit coins for grading, you set a minimum acceptable grade. In the case of this coin, the minimum acceptable grade we set was MS69. When NGC finds coins that don't meet the minimum grade, they "reject" them and do not slab them. The total of 2 rejects from this batch went into our generic silver pile and are not being sold through the BU listing.

But hate the weight, hate the Queenie..

And hate the inevitable milk-spots. :D


If it were 1-oz, I'd pick up a couple.
 
Is it really gonna affect the price down the road having milkspots? It will be a given. People will probably see one without down the road and think it's a fake lol! Just another security feature!!
