Bullion Baron said:@AinslieBullion, can you confirm the 1oz bullion coins mintage? Some confusion as to whether 50,000 or 300,000 as per this post:

This as a series would fail IMO. The premium of this an a US Silver Eagle are very very different.Bullion Baron said:Apparently it's going to be a new series (same design each year, like the American Silver Eagle). Wouldn't be surprised if they bump up the mintage next year if it proves popular at GovMint, 50,000 is a very low number, glad I got some![]()

its 50k mintage as above but as it seems it will be quite a success why not make some with dragon privy, colored ones and all the other variations![]()

Doesn't matter if you are accustomed to higher premiums in Australia, these are clearly made for the US market as 45,000 of the 50,000 mintage was sent there.Bullion Baron said:True, but we are accustomed to higher premiums in Australia.db23 said:This as a series would fail IMO. A coin with a non-changing design cannot be compared to the kooks, just like a coin with a premium starting around $10 cannot be compared to one that starts around $2.30.Also if kept at current 50k mintage limit it would take 10 years to mint the same number as 1 year of Kookaburras (500k). Or 108 years to get to the same number of coins as the first American Silver Eagle (5.4m)![]()
