2014 Patriotic Britannia

I just received my order of one piece of this coin that I saw on eBay. I ordered just one because I wasn't sure what they look like in hand. They look better than any colored Britannia I've ever seen. The gold gilt and color is an after market application.

These are actual photo I took with multiple lights and from various angles including shots from very close:

That doesn't look too bad. I'm not into coloured coins but that looks okay.
If you want a matching coloured liberty to form a set let me know.

That's actually quite nice. I think coloring a coin should help keep the milkspots at bay.

you don't need to spend so much on coloring a coin to hide milkspots.

... just dip them in a pot of chocolate fondue.

Where did you get it from?

eBay...had to buy from a European dealer because at that time (2 to 3 weeks ago), no one else was selling these. So I paid heavy on shipping but I figured, heck, you only live once. :)

They sure are doing colored coins better now, that looks pretty good in those pics.

But in person, how thick does the coloring look...it has always been the thick appearance of the coloring that I haven't liked .
