Does anyone here have any knowledge about the value of the 2014 India Half Sovereign? Apparently it was the first year the Royal Mint released a half sovereign with the "I" mint mark.

It looks like the Royal Mint still sells them for GBP 170 (just under $aud 300) here: https://www.royalmintbullion.com/Products/Sovereign/Gold/IND14UKH
They do state that production was limited and only available for a limited time. They do not state how many were produced though. However one can still buy 500+ of them at once :lol:
Locally Drake Sterling have some graded at MS68 for sale at $350.

I've emailed them about the mintage for the 2014 Half Sovereign, and will share whatever information they send me. Given that this coin was made for the Indian market though, I wouldn't be surprised if the mintage was close to a million. Having said that, I've not seen these show up for sale much.
Locally, as you mentioned, Drake Sterling would be an option. Buying from the Royal Mint would incur shipping charges that would pretty much offset the higher price DS is quoting.

It started in 2013 and lots were minted that year but I think the mintage has been going down since then and they have not realy publicised it. Last time I looked mine was the only graded 2015 Sovereign.

From what I've gathered, 2014 was the first year of the Half Sovereign (there was no 2013 Half Sovereign).
The Full Sovereigns, as you said, are available from 2013 though.
