Afternoon all,

I couldn't find a previous post concerning the 2014 GB Lunar Horse (which I find odd) so if there is one that I missed please let me know.

Its not nearly as nice as the Perth offering IMHO but if this is going to be the start of a new series as advertised then its hard to pass on it. I picked up a silver 1oz proof version at silvertowne http://www.silvertowne.com/p-23443-...ilver-year-of-the-horse-1oz-proof-in-ogp.aspx for US $72.70. I think its a little high for a coin with a mintage of 8,888 but what the heck I only got one. The gold 1/10 would be nice but the only place I can find it is Apmex for over $300. Too steep. So whats the consensus? Lunar overkill?

You could get the 1oz gold royal lunar horse (bullion version) at close to spot price.

There are a few threads about it in the lunar forum. It is actually cheaper than what royal mint charge. I was paying about $120 Canadian each
