Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what is the significance/ reasoning behind the lion privy coins?
I have a couple of dragons, but never really considered what the lion privy was all about.

To allow the perth mint to sap each drop of blood they can from a profitable coin line without directly breaching the 'coin limit'.

It is a scam.

as happened with the dragons, i expect the lion privy version to be worth less than the non version.

I totally agree , its a scam so the Perth mint can avoid their mintage limits, I actually like them somewhat but wont buy any because their antics with this tic me off.

I missed out on buying lunar horses. Maybe I can get a few of these. Have they just been released? I need to find a source for them in Europe.

If you mean the kiloversion, in the Netherland/Belgium/Germany region the lunar horses are available since november 2013 I think. I was about to buy some at the last $19.5 occasion last year but some1 snipped them earlier, and German dealers were a general out of coin stock. As far as I can see now, about every dealer sells them again.
