Hi every one and i hope all is well,

Today is 20/10/2014 and the embargo on this product is finally over.

I would like to touch on this particular coin the 2014 $2 Remembrance Day Coloured coin. To celebrate remembrance day this year the mint has released this beautiful $2 coloured coin, there will be two different versions of this coin, one with a c-mint mark at the 3 o'clock position and one for circulation with no Mint mark.

What i would like to talk about is the No mint mark coin. This year seems to be a very good year for circulation coin collectors, as the mint has offered to roll some circulation $2 Remembrance Day coins for us. Please be advise the mint itself will not sell any of these rolls in their mint shop or online.

I have already notice its up for sale on ebay at $85 + post, but please be advised these rolls wont hit coin dealers till the end of November to early December. It is a long wait for your rolls / coins if you want to PREORDER.

You can also wait and see if your lucky enough to pick them up from circulation, the amount circulated i assume would be close to the 2013 $2 coronation ones. information is still very sketchy. when i receive more information on the total mintage i'll post it for people here.

Collecting should be fun and enjoyable, sometime the hunt can be exciting too but if you would like some of these rolls or even the c-mint mark coin we will have them in stock at a special rate for SS members

P.S SPECIAL NOTE FOR PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN SYDNEY, THERE IS A ANDA COIN SHOW ON THIS WEEKEND FRIDAY/SATURDAY. THE ROYAL AUSTRALIAN MINT WILL HAVE A STAND WHERE IF YOU BUY A MINT SET OR PROOF SET, WE WILL BE ABLE TO CHANGE A $2 REMEMBRANCE DAY COIN, $1 100 YEAR OF ANZAC COIN AND A 50C AIATSIS COIN.
YOU WILL NEED THE PROPER CHANGE $3.50 TO SWAP FOR THE NEW COINS, THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO BE ONE OF THE FIRST PEOPLE TO RECEIVE THE $2 REMEMBRANCE DAY COIN.

dates to consider

30/10/2014 ... the $2 c-mint mark will be available for shipping = $12 each plus post

estimate date 30/10/2014 - 7/11/2014 - $2 no mint mark rolls ( 25 coins in a roll ) = $67 + post

i just want to state "Please bear in mind we do not get these coins at face value from the mint"

If you would like any rolls please PM me on the forum or e-mail me on [email protected]

PLEASE LET ME APOLOGIES "I HAVE JUST CONFIRMED WE WILL BE RECEIVING THE MINT ROLLS ON THE 30/10/2014 END OF THIS MONTH

Thanks for the info, nice design! Email sent.

Is there likely to be a non-coloured version of this coin as there was in 2012?

Hi,

to answer this question, as far as i was told there will be only the coloured coin in the c-mint mark and the no mint mark. The mint has not said anything about a non coloured version.

hope this helps

James

Hi,

Can we pick up a roll at the show if we order now? Or are the rolls only available later?

Hi

to answer this question, at the show you can only swap for the single coin. the mint rolls will be available at the end of this month to early next month

hope this helps

James.

I hope the mintage is close to the Coronations. Perfect amount for potentially finding some in circulation to noodle away, but scarce enough to retain some Numi premium.

Hi All,

for direct email orders please can you state your from SS forum, i have made a mistake and gave a wrong price to an forum member as i didn't know they were from this forum.

Hi All

Sorry for this late message, please bear with me for a while i will try to answer all the messages tonight. i have been bomb shelled today with e-mails and its taking me forever to answer all of them

please let me apologies for these late responses.

James

I should mention that I saw the coin on Friday and Saturday at the Sydney ANDA show. I was not prepared to buy the $25 proof set in order to the $2 swap, and no amount of sweet talking the staff exempted the initial rules.
