The PL Kilo doesn't have the same deep cameo finish as the proof coins, but it is still far superior to the finish of the bullion kilo.

There is a bullion version also. Much higher mintage, but cheaper if going that route

BS or business strike = blemishes, marks are accepted, the design is mostly 2D and not that good, also used for circulating coins
BU or brilliant uncirculated = design is also mostly 2D, but the sculptured design is clearly visible, small marks on the round/rim acceptable
PL or proof like = close to proof, but small marks on the round acceptable, design is also 3D and sharp and clear, background and foreground mostly different mirror to frosted/mirror to matte and so on.
PR or proof = perfect coin no defects, marks and so on. those ones are made under a pressure of 140 tons and more if the mint, (wholeseller) detects really small marks on the round then he can downgrade/sell it to proof like. proof likes are made with a pressure of about 120 tons.

The other, proof matte, mirror satin are choosen explanations to describe it better, only cameo or lets say deep cameo is something like the highest classification.
 
Just to be clear there is only the proof like 1 kg coin- no other Libertad kg options.
