Finally something bigger than the 1oz's and a nice design... But at just under US$1k it's a definite pass for me

Designed and produced as part of the Royal Canadian Mint's wildlife series of coins, the 1/2 kilo Silver Howling Wolf ships in brand new condition. Each coin hold a $125 CAD face value and this have become highly sought after by not only collectors but investors as well. What's more, this coin is unique due to it having a weight of a kilogram. This coin's large size allows for an immense amount of detail to be rendered on both the obverse and reverse sides.
The kilo Silver Howling Wolf coin is made with a kilogram (or 500 grams) of .9999 pure silver, as indicated on the obverse side. Like many RCM coins, the Howling Wolf boasts a purity that is slightly superior to that of the average silver coin you will find on the market today.
The reverse side of the coin features the close-up image of a wolf howling, presumably at the moon. The Howling Wolf coin is just one of many wildlife series coins minted for the purpose of celebrating the diverse wildlife found throughout the Canadian wilderness. The obverse side of the coin features the image of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the $125 CAD face value.

It is nothing more than a mediocre round stamped with a nominal denomination. Maybe worth a quarter or third of the price they are asking. Probably cost them a tenth of that to produce....milk spots are free of course.

I say any Canadian bullion coin is a big turd! A big, white, saucy, gooey, sticky, nasty, bird turd. Stay away!!!! Now, if you can get at spot or under spot, then maybe!!!
