2012 SILVER & GOLD LUNAR DRAGON GROUP BUY UP DATE

45 orders, 2505oz, not counting gold and 1/2s. Egads!

I hope there's not a pm/hr limit (that's private message) or it will take days to organise payment and addresses :)

If APMEX runs out of dragons clean out Gainesville as well Maggie. They use UPS.

Bringing the Lunar Dragon back to Australia

I am already starting to wonder how many can be attributed to members of this forum.

2000 members,
300,000 mintage
=
150 each.

I'll start work now on negotiating a Silver Stackers allocation for the Year of the Snake :/

There's just a tad support here for the series.

Yes indeed..And this far out.. We might be able to work on getting a silver stackers allocation from the Perth Mint.. they should recognise that we in this forum are amoung the biggest supporters of their products so deserve to be able to buy some of the product..

Its funny how we have an ambargo on showing the design... and we can find it on US and Europe sites.. and now we have to bulk buy back aussie product from US sellers.. Its like we are punished for being their staunchest supporters...

Anyone else see the horrible irony?

You know, in some ways this thread is really awesome and in some ways it's really sad too.

Need a new Wikipedia page.... the SilverStackers Effect.

The SilverStackers effect, also known as stacking, occurs when a popular precious metal item is listed for purchase on Silver Stackers causing a massive increase in demand. This overloads the limited mintage on said precious metal item, causing it to be rationed or even temporarily crash some poor dealer's website. The name stems from the huge influx of 2012 Dragon Silver 1oz Coin purchases that resulted from Silver Stackers.

Haha the silverstackers effect.
SS old-timers will rememember the "Clownfish coin". :)

Roll of 20 for me also Maggie.. id ask for more but the fear of more rejection is not something i can handle at the moment.

Do Apmex have decent prices when items are first released?

Willl this be pre-payment.. id be looking for some level of commitment.. i have already pre-ordered a few rolls which may or may not eventuate so once bitten twice shy.

1for1
