I would think more like 600,000 to 800,000..

There doesnt seem to be many sold in Australia (at least on this website)

Might be higher overseas after the other two 1oz options sold out?

Spoke with the Perth Mint in September and the presentation card 2012 Silver Kaola will be released in the 2nd week of November keep on requesting but they won't take any forward orders just have to watch for them on line

I am about to start collecting koalas and would happily swap 2007-2011 eagles for the same year koalas.
I like the ugly lil buggers!
 
i dont mind the design, i prefer the 2011 but i think i will get one

what are these card koalas people are talking about?
 
Word is that 2012 Koalas (all sizes - 1/2oz, 1oz, 10oz, 1kg) are now all delayed until 3rd January 2012 - they've been pushed back due to 2012 Kookaburra production with the full 500,000 Kookaburras being sold.

Looks like that between now and the end of the year that 1oz Perth Mint silver coins are going to be in short supply.
