2012 1/10 oz Gold Koala proof question

Anybody here have any? I found a place here in the US that seems to have a FANTASTIC deal on them, and wanted to know any thoughts you guys might have.

Looks like the mintage is only 5000 for the 1/10th's

this would be my first GOLD purchase, and thought the coin was beautiful, and that I might be able to sell a few for a nice profit. (keeping a few for myself of course) :D

Depends on how much it cost, if it is near bullion price, then I think it is worth it. Earlier, I bought some proof lunars because they were on sale, they were at bullion price, otherwise, I don't think I would buy any proof gold.

$193 US is what I found them for. Perth looks to sell them for $313 US
 
wow, just checked the site i saw the coin at, and the price has jumped to $255. I inquired as to why the sudden increase.

the 1/10 oz gold dragon has gone up a lot as well.
 
just got this response...

"there was a system error that caused the pricing to list well below our cost , so it has now been adjusted. Sorry for any confusion!"

damn, i shoulda snatched a few up
 
Ask them if they will still honor the price to you as you were just moving some money around between accounts to get one . . ;)
