Ahh thx.

I think that they have gone beyond they limit on how much they can send to Sweden tho, but maybe I order some to a friend of mine that lives in Norway. Wont see him until summer but it may be worth it =)

Coininvestdirect has NOT reached their limit of how much they can sell to Sweden, YET, last year it took 3 months to get there, will
probably be faster this year but as of now, Sweden is still open for business, checking the website right now.

However, Coininvestdirect have implemented this on intl orders.

"Please be furthermore informed that in the future there will be an admin fee of 10% for VAT liable goods (not gold)
on international orders where sales restrictions apply to us.

10% admin fee ?????????? That is HUGE. Is it harder to wrap up a package to Sweden than to a German customer I wonder?
 
That sucks, I thought that EU was all about free trade. I guess that applies only to big international companies.

What are you smoking? Free Trade = screw the little guy so the rich can get richer.
 
Yep theirs nothing more i love seeing time & again than when over seas company's are selling Ozzie coins / bullion etc but oh yeh by the way we don't ship to Australia. Seems to much trouble to send but no problem to receive them to make a profit, leaches.
 
Be giving this "bear" privy a miss. 50,000 is a pretty big mintage. Look at the Canadian Maple "Titanic" Privy with a 25,000 mintage or the Maple "Normandy" Privy and they only basically hold the original premium then move up/down with spot.

You can also look at the Kookaburra Privies that have been brought out, still hardly anything above a non-privy kookaburra of the same year despite the privy coin having a mintage of maybe only 2,000.
 
All true, but no Kookaburra is worth a lot anyway. While early Koala prices are already up.

If we check mintage numbers

Uncirculated Koala1oz Bullion Coins
Koala 2009 .......................... 336,757
Koala 2008 .......................... 84,057
Koala 2007 .......................... 137,764

and consider prices of 2007 and 2008 coins, then 50.000 Privy Mark Koalas have a good chance.

Unable to understand why it is not so popular.
Maybe no-one knows it exists ?
Should I buy more or is there a curse on this coin ?

The Koala has never been popular and with this years freaky looking koalas I reckon sales would be even lower.

I would not pay any amount no matter how little to own a koala coin.

For some reason NOBODY collects or pays a premium for privy's of any variety, there are plenty around for $50 mark :)

I heard a lot of similar statements about 2008 Koala when it first came out, now the same people are buying them from me for 70.

It does not have to be pretty, just expensive. :)
 
My Vulcan logic, according to "Mr. Spock", is that when a privy marked Koala can be bought for less than a 2012 Kookaburra or marginally more than a Canadian Maple then it is a smart purchase.
Just curious as to why the seller has inventory yet sold out of Dragons - all denominations.
Would have thought all the Privy marked Koalas would have been snapped up.
