2009 Koala and kookaburra 1 kilo coins

Hello

I have a change to buy large amount of 2009 one kilo silver koala and/or kookaburra coins for $60 (USD) per coin over spot price of silver. To me this sound an incredible deal.

I think I will pull the trigger. Which of the two should I buy? What is the collector potential of these coins?

Thanks in advance

Easy answer.

Out of the two it's the 2009 Kookaburra for sure. Lower mintage, more collectable and sort after.

I think you are wrong on the mintage. The mintage of 2009 kilo koala is 34 947 while the mintage of the kilo kook is 74 757

It seems atleast that 2009 koala has hardly ever been for sale in eBay. However I am not saying the kook would not be better choice.

In my opinion the 2009 Koala should be your first choise. All kilo coinsin BU do not have a high premiun
but the deales offered sales here in Germany is actually slightly better.
And I do prefer the 2009 Koala motive.
