Shorting and buying puts on banking shares and indices hopefully in the coming months. This will also act as a hedge against the chance of a falling gold price if the USD rallies
I feel that Aussies get robbed on the ASX markets. Every Monday we see subdued markets because we are waiting for Europe and US markets sentiment to be presented. On Friday we have the same sort of deal, we dont want to be going in to the weekend on a high,, if the rest of the world has a bearish Friday.
The account held up and EXU briefly doubled our entry. ARD was as good as could be expected and finished down $40 from purchase. AZS is the dog that wont hunt, and ARU finished just in front. So the $121 that we are down with AZS was a sample of its total disregard for elevation, but next week is another week. brokerage total is $100 to date. Kitco is showing silver lagging gold, and gold is looking fine as it engages the US markets. If you want to see copy and paste of the account just let me know. If it ever happens to go over $50k at some stage i might suddenly go cagey, but hopefully not.

No , i didnt get PIO but they are a sound candidate for the project. I want to drop in another $400 odd and get one more stock but i have been having extreme problems getting my money out of the places where its at. I have the hounds on my tail looking for what i owe them but i have a major holdup in supply

Ok, so I bought into PIO and so I am in! Then it goes down 4.75% today!!!! Doh.
Well, I can say out of the six companies I own, one is going well!
It is VLA and I have 20% growth in two weeks! Happy about that!
So - should I get more or wait for more growth and sell some... or hold?
In light of my losing streak, I am actually feeling better with one green amongst the red!

I like it... but I know P/E is not the best.... but you know... gambling is sexy and interesting.... digging up dirt not so much.

Go to the top of the page and hit ' Upload Image' - when you've done that paste in the lower one of the two options (first is thumbnail pop-out, second is full image)
