I was shown this coin today, by another collector who thought he had hit the jackpot and scored himself a mule.
My initial thought were the same, until I turned the coin over.

When I placed the coin next to another 2000 $1 coin, I noticed that the queens heads were the same.
Plus not to mention the obvious that the mob of roos were missing :)

But had to double check to ensure that this wasn't a new olympic games version of the mule.

Thanks Dan, Now it make sense.
If a 10 cent fit in the ring then it is a mule coin.

Someone must have been desperate to circulating a non circulate coin.
Looks pretty worn out. :/

I have a few of the mule coins year 2000 . :D

Look up previous mules posts thread.

The coin was located in a gaming room, so could explain its current condition.

As for non-circulated coins being found in circulation...
people have their reasons, not to sure about them being desparate but more un-educated in what they actually have.

Thanks guys for contributing to the post, will now continue my hunt for the real thing :)
