I didnt put in a bid - I was questioning the finish date and then realised that the finish date was changed to sunday so took my comment off.
It might be worth me mentioning how auctions have been run from previous and older members - for the whole time I have been here. They usually finish with a time like this one ie 8pm, hence anything with a timestamp of 7:59 misses out, OR the OP mentions the anti snipe rule and the auction finished (as an example) 5 mins past the last bid on any of the lots. Both these two methods get rid of any doubt and they run smoothly with no opportunity for any disagreements. Just worth a thought.
