1oz 2020 emu - sold out

Did anyone else have issues ordering the new release 1oz silver emu today on the PM website? When there were 17 left I added them to my cart but couldn't get past an error on the final confirmation page and when I called them there were only 3 left (which I picked up, but postage per coin is pretty hefty).

On the phone I was told that 90% of the stock is being sent overseas, they would try to see if they can sell more locally but no guarantees. Would be better if they better supplied their local market, in my biased opinion.

Newbie question- saw these coins during the day and they were limited to 20 per person/account. If that’s the case, why list prices for 60, 100, 300 or more ? Isn’t this false advertisement?

Just another classic Perth Mint release - 30,000 mintage, only 4,000 of which are available at the mint itself, 20 coin limit online, then 10 coin limit at the physical retail shop

Probably. They always seem to use the same selling template and are too lazy to change their quantity discount calculator if there’s a purchase limit

Saw these today with the 20 limit and didn't pick any up because I didn't think it was worth it with the postage cost, though break paying postage for only 3.

There’s much better options on the market currently.

ABC Bullion...

I got the 2019 emu - seriously, $105 for that! I don't know why I forked out so much. Moment of weakness, LOL.

Wow, doesn't even appear to be sold out. Tragic!

I really like the design of this one, I think the emu has been a good series thus far. Was lucky to have been able to grab a roll, but I do agree that it would be nice if Perth Mint looked to supply the local market at a higher rate than they do. It’s not like they’re not charging us a decent premium.

But yes, lovely coin. Looks fantastic in person. I dig the funny looking feet thing that’s going on. I say feet, do birds even have feet? You know that I mean.
they have obligations to other resellers and I have a feeling the split is determined on population.

But i wholeheartedly agree Aussies should come first from the AUSTRALIAN Mint
