IMG_2620.jpeg Hello fellow stackers

I have a 2008 1oz silver Rabbit with the date of 2007 on the obverse side

Is this deemed as a series one lunar or two ? The Ox also had two different dates on the coin

Was this as a result of the overlap between the series issue of Lunars by Perth Mint ?

I also have the 1999 1oz silver Rabbit with the P100 mark on the coin and what does this mean

Any info you may wish to share as I’m sure there is a logical explanation as to why would be much appreciated. Thanks IMG_2619.jpeg

Issued by the Perth Mint - $1 One Ounce Silver Lunar Series 1 Coin.

This coin is part of the First Lunar Series, which on Silver only coins commenced in 1999, and continued until 2010 to enable the full 12 Chinese Calendar animals to be issued in this design.

The second series, Lunar Series II, which had a slightly different design commenced in 2008. This caused Series I and II to overlap during a two-year span from 2008 to 2010.

This is the reason this coin has an obverse dated 2007 and a reverse with a date of 2008.

This is Not A Mule coin!
