1kg Scottsdale Stacker Bars, anyone collecting them?

I have been looking at Scottsdale stacker bars but not sure they are worth the premium price over what else is available. I looked at the SBA one recently as well and as I'm in the eastern subs I think I will buy a couple of theirs to get me up and running. As I'm pretty new to this stacker caper can anyone advise of the pitfalls to watch out for and if the local bars are any good.

I bought a couple of the Ainslie stackers which are made by Scottsdale. About the same or just less than Pamp (last year).
These would be cheaper than importing them from the states.

I see the following qualities with these bars:
They stack...
I like the machined finish
They have a cnc machined anti forge swirl on back which is very cool imo.
Even the 10oz bars are serialised
They are made by a silver focused company, rather then gold.
There seems to be a unique attraction to the stacker bars which raises demand over others and will make it that little bit easier to sell privately if the time comes.
The premiums are not that much more. Pocket change really. I think it is worth it just by being a bit more liquid. I have also noticed their lower to higher oz bar premium differences are small compared to other brands.

^^^ah but they're the 10oz bars, the kilo is a new design and to me, a lot less appealing due to it's small and overly chunky size.
I'd definitely get kilo PAMPs over the new kilo Stackers. The stacking side of the bars hasn't been all that great as I've pulled out the SDB many times and they unstack themselves very easily. Wrapping PM 10oz bars in bubblewrap is more effective

Yeah they are quite tall. Almost the same area as the 10oz. There is a kilo in that photo, kinda hidden. I only have the one, so I can't test stacking, but the design is identical to the 10oz ones. Perth mint kilo dimensions would probably suit best for a kilo stacker.

While the Perth bars can be nice, the bars they've been producing over the past few years are NOT very nice. Plus, the Perth poured bars are easier to fake.

I'd have to disagree with that. The pitting on a cast bar is almost impossible to replicate. Machined surfaces can be done in a workshop and machining smears the surface of the metal and will hide lines and slight colouring differences in the metal.
However, being machined bars, they all have a standard size and weight which you can memorise and then simple check new bars using a rule/spacer tool and scales.

Being an Aussie i love the design of the Southern Cross Stackers
Reckon itd be awesome if the Perth Mint make their own Stacker bars,the old PM Bars are a bit boring i reckon.

I don't like these new 1kg stackers at all, the dimensions aren't right in my opinion. I don't like the chunky look of them.
The 10oz size is perfect shape. Shame they changed the 1kg shape, I would have liked to of got one of the older style 1kg stackers. I think they also used to come in really nice presentation boxes, or maybe that was only for the 100oz version.
