The proof kilo horse was issued at $1595 when it was released by the Perth mint. They then jacked the price up on their website to $1750 a few weeks later.

The US Mint ups prices based on spot price over a set period of time. Perhaps the Perth Mint upped the price for the same reason....there was a period of time earlier this year when silver drove up a fair percentage. I was calling that period a bull trap. I suppose the Perth Mint upped prices during a period like that.
