1995 Canadian Lynx 1/10 oz platinum coin

I picked up one of these proof coins. Really small coin but neat artwork. Paid $100 and came with COA and box. Not a big platinum fan (vs. silver) right now but thought it looked like an OK deal. Looks like this:

Way back when the face value was close to metal value.
Not that face value means zip with Canadian stuff

I don't take into account face value on any PM coin. It is just put there as a nominal value anyway. If I was concerned with face value I would stack cash and non PM coins.

$100 is an awesome price for that, I've seen one go for almost $300 last year.
