1930 Penny. Just another Fake

The wear footprint on one coin does not look right...... Warning!

Now why would someone offer $6 postage for a start bid $22,000.00 AUD coin ?????

Scam?

Edit: one coin looks legit. The $22K ask

Fake. Look at the 9 and the 3 - two totally different size fonts. I think it has the Birmingham reverse as well, rather than the correct London reverse. My guess is an altered 1920.

GP your right, in fact there are so many things wrong with that one, I I wanted to sell a 25K coin, I'd take far better pictures for a start, even the coloration doesn't match the wear shown on the crown
Cheers
Alfie

Interesting how his only feedback is from a store called allaboutantiques lol

Found two more 1930's fakes

The second auction states "This item has been checked by an authorised coin collector, it is genuine", 0 looks wrong, blurred crappy pictures, no name of "authorised collector" or letter of authentication from said collector
Alfie

lol @ "authorised collector". My partner lets me collect so I can I am an "authorised collector". Not really sure how that would qualify me to certify a 1930 penny.
