Well done ;) I just happen to have the Renniks catalogue in front of me looking at something else
Fine $1,350
VF - $3500
EF - $7K
Aunc - $11K
Unc - $17,5K
Ch unc - $27,K
Gem - $37,5K
I'm no expert on grading but I'd take a stab at VF at least
Prices are from 2011 edition so prices should be better than that

Anthony difficult piece and does not come very often at auction. The condition is very good and deserves to be certified, they give the value that befits such rare pieces. The degree that I think will get is between AU55 to AU58 :):):)

Agree with Chris on the rarity as such value and price are all relevant at the time.

Looking at the photos provided, I don't believe it will grade AU I believe it is a strong EF maybe EF+ however too many rim knocks and wear to the obverse for a higher grade IMO. The reverse which always wear better is in very good condition and would go AU no problem ? Looks to be plenty of lustre in the fields as well.

Thanks for sharing.

I reackon it's an EF+
The Reverse is far better than the obverse, few bagging marks on obverse head, the fields are nice and clear.
Biggest detraction is the obverse rim knocks
Very nice coin
Cheers

I think we agree :)=)
I think anything above is a bit generous
A beautiful coin no less and the reverse is fantastic, shields are my favorite of the Sov's

you sovereign collection expanded rapidly
we are many greeks around here at silver stackers

Nice details, great strike, a couple of minor rim knocks and some small contact marks, possible evidence of cleaning..

I'd go gEF Brit grading, aunc US.. Great eye appeal.. Hard to tell if its going to look nicer I hand

Cheers... Love young head Victoria .. Great specimen
