Have no fear.... I've tried several times to run out of motion potion, but it seems the low fuel warning light is a mere highlighting to the fact that you will need fuel in the next hour or so! Almost a dare to keep on going :)

I agree the warning light isnt a "nearly out of fuel light" .I tested my car one time inadvertantly when my LPG system shat itself & had to go back to petrol ..It went about 100K's to the next gas station (all the while me crapping myself thinking it was going to stop )
 
Got to within 60 k then hit heavy fog.

Started hearing banjos.

Turned around and headed home.

Went 30 k without seeing another vechile.

Thanks boneyard tassie is beautiful .The fisherman in me would have had me throwing a line in at some of those rivers
