10 oz Pamps or 10oz Geigers

Hi fellow stackers, apart from price is there much difference between these two. I have enough low premium 1kg and 50 cent rounds so looking at some high premium 10 oz bars.Is there something else to consider .Cheers.
 
10oz Geiger's, pamps are some really nice bars.

Can also 10oz lunar/koala/kook coins.

And also hand poured 10oz silver bars like Academy :)
 
I wouldn't consider the Geiger 10oz bar to be a "high premium" bar. It's currently on special at Bullion List for $248.57 (and I don't think the normal pricing is much higher), versus the Perth Mint 10oz at $256.41, and the PAMP 10oz at $293.67.

I'd stack the Geigers and PM bars over PAMPs any day - the premium on PAMPs is too much, IMHO.
 
Definitely check out the 10 oz lunars and even the kooks and koalas. Cheaper than a 10 oz pamp and much nicer in my opinion. They also have 'semi-numi' potential to go up in premium over the years.
 
10 oz pamp after 5 years (lets say spot doesnt change) still worth the same as you paid for it (actually less if you think of deflation) and very liquid. 10 oz lunar 5 years old ends up worth a lot more so its clearly best option. Just look at any lunar even snake has gained some premium by now
 
I don't understand the huge premium of the silver 10oz pamp bars while the gold pamp bars has no premium. I'd definitely buy Geiger vs pamp silver
