Hi All, I have some 2009 proof ox's (also some gilded) and was wondering if anyone might guess at a value?? Thanks.

guilded $107 at the perth mint http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalogue/australian-lunar-series-ii-2009-gilded-ox-1oz-silver-coin.aspx

proof at the perth mint unavailable so would say $350-400 same as the dragons currently

I would suggest the price for the proof is somewhat off the inflated dragon. I would suggest around $150-200 - i have seen other series 1 proofs going for around this price in coin shops. Ebay prices have a mind of their own tbh.

Thanks all. The ones I have are encapsulated but with no box or paperwork does this make any (or much) difference to value?

Gilded ox with no case is worth ~$55-60. Less than the BU bullion surprisingly.

No idea about a proof with no case.

As fishball noted, I would say this makes quite a bit of difference. The case not so much, because you can replace this, but the cert is a bit hard to find and given the proofs are very limited mintage, i would say the price drops by around 30% (maybe more) - however i have not seen a caseless/certless proof for sale so i couldnt tell you for sure.
