Wile gold might be on a down turn & that seems to be what causes purchasing interest (for me )
It's NOT imposable that one day any under $2000 per ounce price may be " those were the days "

So can any one help inspire me that a 1 gram panda is a good investment
the gold weight will have to go $2000 per ounce to just get value back .
Will a gold panda at 1 gram ever have the mystique of Panda's in general
 
Why not, as long as the price is decent, i do collect some 1 or 2 gram gold novelties. Panda 1g can achieve that realization.

I was thinking to ask. My local dealer in my country is selling for 75usd BU. Last week i was in Turkey and 1 gram bar in assay card (Nadir) fetch at 42 usd in local bullion store. Quite big difference which i can buy 2 gram at all
 
I guess it's the age old debate gold purchase for shear weight or gold for coin intrinsic value , the real bottom line is the pay you get . Cause if we have 1 gram or 1 ounce of gold scrap , the pay is the same .

I assume to those of us that buy the fancy coins and pay more some day some body will win , Just not sure it's in our life time

Using this as a mathematical foundation even stacker's like us want our stack to grow to this level even 1 ounce at a time . So I see for me I want the most I can get

I wont buy the Panda ,
But thats just me .
 
I asked this question in a handful of forums in the us.Why buy a 1gm panda for almost a 100% premium?The coin has a melt value of about $39.00.The answer I got about the 2016 coin was that this is the first year of issue.The 2017 went on presale from many dealers @$54us.I bought 2 for the heck of it.Many ebay listings are for $75 or more so maybe I'll sell them.
 
I suppose it depends on your end plan..., if you intend to "flip", the panda over a short period of time, rather than hold onto it to help "preserve wealth".., then surely the extra premium you paid on it initially, you will then claim it back when you sell it on...???
