1/2oz Dragon 2011

1/2 oz 2011 Dragons would be very cheap at that price level (considering they dont exist)

Half ounce 2012 dragons can be had from my nanna for less than 18 each.. so yeah its the going rate on these unlimited puppies.. i like em but can see why they havent been rushing off the shelf...

Most consumers are now doubting themselves and there investment in sivler given the 1 year since silver spiked over $49 and has been going side-ways since is drop to around 30...

For those of us still buying in, we the magnitute of international bullion offerinns not to mention the pleuthura of dragons investors are being propositioned more than ever and with such ample supply and amazing variety no one product is selling heavily and demand has been weakened in terms of perth mint product due to PM policy on screwing long term investors.

I like em at 18 as does my nanna... but many would say buy something with less of a 40% premium and preferably nothing out of the perth mint..

Up to you though of course, and as we are talking pocket money coin i doubt it will be the make or break of your lifestyle and effulency.

1for1

Interesting view 1for1 and I was kind of coming to some of the same conclusions. I wonder why if the Chinese demand was so great for a poxy 300,000 coins why now many months on numerous European dealers still have them in 1 oz form for sale? Kind of contradicts the whole dragon thing to me.

With all the privy releases and now these reminting escapades I think I'll pass on their stuff from now on. The snake maybe a punt but only if it's priced like the RCM wildlife series. I don't think they've done themselves any favours with most collectors, but I could likely be wrong.

Imho, current 1oz PM lunars will continue to command upmarket prices in the future.
I was told once that no one really wanted rabbits at that time but the current prices are proven with modest premium. I'd love to see the 1oz dragon (non privy) comeback to reign in a year or two :)
