Just wondering which coins see the best increase in premium..bought a few 1/10 oz snakes last year at 140/each and now they go for about 190-200 on feeBay..wondering if the 1/4 oz coins increase by as much or if I should just stick to the 1/10..going to get some horses before they're gone. Also wondering if the kangaroos have generally the same premium increase or if the lunars are worth the extra couple dollars..thanks for your input

1/10oz seem to outperform 1/4oz in my opinion. 1/20oz have too high a premium from the beginning to consider unless building a set for yourself.
Kangaroos only *ever* trade for bullion value. People expect to buy older Kangaroos of any size at a discount, not a premium. Limited collector base, which is a shame, because there's lots of areas to collect in them.
Buy Lunars because you're hoping for numismatic returns on top of the gold price. Buy Kangaroos because you want gold.

Which is a pity cause I like the 1/4 so much better than the 1/10.

I bought a Kangaroo but after reading this thread it was a wrong buy? I could have bought a Luna for the exact same price
Kangaroo is the most famous Australian animal, when Japanese individuals get a bit more disposable wealth behind them again they will buy a kangaroo and a Koala over a Luna dragon any day! I believe the re sale price of lunar,s is false due to everyone wanting them for re sale to the Chinese, but they are just selling on to others at inflated prices who think they are a better bet to sell to a Chinese buyer in the future lol But Chinese really want Kangaroos just like the Japanese lol
I just cant ever see myself buying a coin with "The Year Of the Goat" on it lol anything 333 or 666 is a sure re seller to the Chinese wealthy of the future.

personaly I like better Kangaroos than Lunars, but I buy lunars becauase they gain more premium over time than Kangaroos.

I have also observed that the 1/10 oz gold lunars seem to do well,compared to the other sizes.I dont want to spend $190. for more snake coins,so beginning with the horse I have been buying 5 or so 1/10 oz lunars,for about $140usd.I dont think that I will regret it.
