Welcome...
When it comes to that plastic, It is common from what i have seen. As long as the coin isn't scratched, You're ok..
I would take a 10x magnifier and examine the coin thoroughly anyway...
good luck..
I love these babies... I purchased the 1 ounce gold one in ms-70 ( looks better to me than the proof one ).
The contrast in my opinion looks better.. Barsenault, I like the 1 ounce silver... My opinion.
Well, I'm in the states and prices have been steady here. If you want the 1 and 3 gram graded pcgs-70's, You will pay about $163 for 1 gram, And about $254 for the 3 gram... Prices will vary though
I have this coin graded .... ( pcgs ms-70 ), And i think it's a gorgeous lunar monkey. In this particular coin, I prefer this grade in MS 70 compared to PF 70, But that's my opinion.
If you want a nice gold bar, Buy the r c m 1 ounce gold bar. This baby is sealed to perfection. I never heard of anyone having a problem with those spotting or whatever. The price is good as well. .9999 stamped with serial number.
Reasons i'm not to excited about this piece....
1. Not proof.....
2. Not U-L-T-R-A High relief....
3. Cheap mint case its put into... Not solid wood like the beautiful 24k buffalo...
4. 50k is a very high mintage for a $1490.00 "medal" for today's gold prices... ( $400.00 premium )....
5. The...
Coin will go on sale @ the US Mint at 12:00 pm est.. Price will be $1490.00 ( with today's drop in gold ). It brought the coin down by $50.. Congrats to all who pick up 1.
It's not enough where there are phony gold pandas to begin with. Now no markings on them.... They can give me one for free, And i'll tell them to keep it.
Buy the coin because you love it. Who cares what the price is as long as your willing to pay it. If your flipping the coin, Pick it up for the cheapest you can get it and make a profit.
