Need advice: Buy gold now or over time?

Yep. I have kept checking the site over the last few years but never had the free time/desire to post anything. The only reason I was posting then was because of the fact I had a newborn that I was staying up all hours of the night with. You can probably guess that I have another newborn. So...

Need advice: Buy gold now or over time?

I think Rich Dad Poor Dad explained it best. The best way to create wealth is by creating businesses. It is hard to create wealth as an employee. Everyone wants to be an investor but it takes several 100K to be a real investor. (My paraphrase). Stacking is a hobby just like collecting anything...

Gold pops on FOMC, will drop later

Just thought I would revive this post by House... Thought I would add the $12 soon prediction on 1/16/2016 http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-71213-we-re-going-to-see-us12-silver-soon.html I looked at 18 predictions (defined time and amount) and he was right on 4.

Next two weeks pivotal for precious metals

Why is open interest not accurate? Isn't open interest the number of contracts that are still possible to be exercised? How would total net position not be 0? Someone offers to sell the contract and someone agrees to buy thus the total net position would be 0, or is that inaccurate?

    A Happy UP Thread..

I have a question regarding penny stocks that I have often wondered and think you will be able to answer. Take ABU it is trading at 0.08 currently and has an average daily volume of 684,662. So, if I bought $10,000 worth of ABU I would buy roughly 125,000 shares. Which is roughly going to...

    Silver Stackers Trading Challenge

You are referring to the fact that after 5 weeks you were up 0.46% (annualized at 4.78% during a bull market) on your money and that proves you are a good trader? Maybe I am missing something.

Next two weeks pivotal for precious metals

For what it is worth the current volatility of the S and P 500 and the near term futures volatility of the S and P is more than 2 points apart. By definition these 2 numbers have to converge in the next month to be the same value. The trade to profit off of this is to buy an at the money call on...

    Nickel

Can you elaborate on how this is different than stacking silver? In order to have any real gain stacking physical silver after premiums and shipping you have to be dealing in tons. Basically same question. How is this different than the advice for silver? Also, do companies still fail if a...

    Nickel

While I know Nickel is not a precious metal I thought this would be the best place to pose the question. Currently a US nickel costs well 5 cents and it currently has roughly 3 cents worth of nickel in it. Coins get debased when it becomes more expensive to make said coin than to sell it. I am...

    Silver price going parabolic AGAIN

Curious as to the logic on covering half your positions and not more or less.

    Silver price going parabolic AGAIN

Martingale system is designed for a 1:1 risk reward (i.e. blackjack tables) not shorting stocks. Martingale was a gambler and if the system truly worked than we should all forget learning anything and just go to the casinos. The reason it fails is due to poor risk management. Let's say you lose...

Silver price is going parabolic again

So, I originally started the math thinking Leon was making the trades it was just with such a small amount that who cares, but after going through the math I come to a completely different conclusion. I now doubt the trades are happening. Would love someone else to go through my math and see if...

"Bernie Sanders is the best candidate for the Economy"

Yes. I live in Oklahoma. Edit: Bernie wil not be an option for president. He will be beaten by Clinton in the primaries and thus not even an option. I tend to wait until the official nominations have been made before I look at any policies they have. At this stage in the game it is a giant...

    Stockmarket Blues

Could you please elaborate on how to enter a trade and put on a stop that if activated causes you to only break even? I don't see how you could enter the market, pay a fee to do so, and guarantee a sell price with a stop high enough to cover the round trip fees of the transactions all at the...

Gold and Silver may have turned the corner

I've never traded penny stocks because I can't logically come up with a good entry point. The logic may be flawed so would be curious to hear your or anyone's take on it. If a stock is trading for 0.01 with normal daily volume of 1 million shares. If I buy $5,000 worth that is 500,000 shares or...

Gold and Silver may have turned the corner

What makes you think there is currently a stock market bubble? I personally think there is still quite a bit of potential gain for the stock market.

I need Spot to hit 18.07 to Breakeven

Not sure how this is like a covered call option. In a covered call option you own the underlying stock and sell an option to generate income. Here you are buying stock (physical silver) with borrowed money (leverage) and trying to sell stock (physical silver) for a profit. But maybe I am...

I need Spot to hit 18.07 to Breakeven

He is saying that he bought at 16, then sold at 17, and then rebought at 15 and thus his cost is only 14. I disagree with that logic but that is what he is saying. Couple other ways would be by theft or finding it by rummaging through bank bags. I would also discourage those ways.
