The coin was located in a gaming room, so could explain its current condition. As for non-circulated coins being found in circulation... people have their reasons, not to sure about them being desparate but more un-educated in what they actually have. Thanks guys for contributing to the post...

2000 $1 Coin a Mule wanna be ( How unlucky is this )

I was shown this coin today, by another collector who thought he had hit the jackpot and scored himself a mule. My initial thought were the same, until I turned the coin over. When I placed the coin next to another 2000 $1 coin, I noticed that the queens heads were the same. Plus not to...

"The RBA now has more capacity to absorb unforeseen losses on foreign-exchange and bond holdings," said Sally Auld, a interest rate strategist at JPMorgan Chase & Co in Sydney. Lunar Prices

No.... but could see it moving in line with mouse/rabbit pricing low $40's (over the next three years). The only way I could see the horse fetching $60....is if spot goes up to $50 (over the next three years). I personally believe similar to series 1, that the series will attrack a premium...

1990 Kookaburra - no capsule vs encapsulated

Personally, I prefer coins to be in capsules, to prevent accidental damage (scratches, scuff marks and dings). Its a lot easier to re-sell a kook coin that carries a premium if it isn't damaged ( bullion or proof )

Would anyone know the value of these coins?

Like with most coin, it all comes down to condition when determining a price. I would be taking the 1888 to a reputable coin dealer in your area to have the coin assess .....this should give you a better idea on the value
