That's an extremely good call! My favorite are the Lunar... so i'd always be drawn towards a gold 1oz Lunar but for CGT the Britannia would work out better in the long run.

Absolutely hit the nail on the head. Bullion are dull and matt like. Much lower cost. Proof are very shiny and obviously carry an inflated price. I would suggest buying both and deciding what you'd like to carry on collecting/investing in/

Don't feel that way. Some of the questions I asked when I first joined were extremely N00b. I've got a 10oz bullion snake and 5oz proof snake. If you want something to look at in wonder than i suggest going for a 5oz proof coin. They really are nice :)

Does not interest me in the slightest. If one is cheap in a year or so then i may purchase one. If not... not bothered. Plenty of other gold coins i'd love to have.
