You can always crack it open and put it in a capsule, but then you'd lose PCGS slab and the Mercanti signature. I believed he hand-signed all of the labels rather than just a mass printed signature.

"GEM" means that PCGS did not assign a grade to it. In this case, any GEMs you see means it did not get MS69 or MS70. Seeing how these are from Perth, quality of GEM should still be pretty good. I'd wager that they're better than the croc bullion coins (on average).

Hmm this is very conflicting info on the mintage, and exclusivity. ArgentAgent47 is based in the US, so if he got an allocation, then it's not exclusive to govmint. Someone is bound to be wrong between these two posts.
