I have a bucket I throw all my pocket change in each day. Once the bucket is full (normally $80 to $100 worth) I change it out for note cash and (prior to stacking) would normally spend it on a take away meal for the family. I would likely now put it towards silver and we eat baked beans instead...

I agree with the above. A partial holding in cash (or access to cash - like re-draw) should tide over most in an emergency without having to sell any of your stack at loss. Based on a normal emergency scenario (unforseen medical, car beak down etc...) not the end of the world as we know it...

Last I read in that thread was you were abandoning it ... Back to the drawing board...

I'm curious if there are any stackers out there that have NEVER sold any of their stack? Obviously if your new to stacking this is no biggie (like myself), but is there anyone out there that has been stacking for a considerable period that has a serious "buy and hold at all costs" mentality...
